Kangaroo Ground General Store

The first choice for breakfast fell to me. It happened to be my birthday and Bill, my sister Pip and I wanted to head out for breakfast not too far away from home, as we also had a family picnic scheduled for a little later in the day and didn't want to have to rush off to it.

I chose the Kangaroo Ground General Store  as it is only ten minutes away from home and also we had popped in recently to grab a quick take away coffee and thought that it looked pretty darn cute!

It is a fairly typical country store with the added bonus of having a huge selection of delicious food beautifully arranged to tempt the hungry hordes, which by the way, just kept rolling in while we were there. The brekky food was very limited, but also very cheap, only $8.50! Bill chose fried eggs ...

and we girls had poached.

Simple fare, but tasty, and the coffees were good and hot!
